Housing Partnership Program

This program began in January 2002 and is designed to meet an urgent need for longer-term supportive affordable housing for families earning very low incomes. The families come from shelters, transitional housing programs, or are in imminent danger of homelessness.

Program participants live in townhouses that the Foundation owns. These homes are located in communities in Prince William County and are near transportation, stores, and schools. Families pay no more than 30% of their gross income for rent and utilities.

This program also includes a wide range of supportive services provided. The goals of this program are to empower the families to retain housing through education and income development and to provide parents with the support necessary to help their children achieve their highest, personal best.
