Join us on this journey to improve a life
Have you wondered why some individuals and families are homeless?
One of the major reasons is insufficient income and/or mental illness which can significantly impact loss of housing. What can be done to help?
Good Shepherd Housing Foundation is expanding their efforts to help a wider range of adults and children in need of housing. By bridging the gap in affordable housing and providing more housing opportunities within the PWC community and giving us ownership without restrictions, GSHF is taking steps toward a brighter future for all. Additionally, by continuing to support low-income families while accessing new funding sources, GSHF assures the long- term sustainability of their efforts.
We can provide a secure and well-maintained home in the community, with your support, by removing HUD restrictions on five properties and offering these homes to the PWC Housing Choice Voucher Program. With three decades of experience in managing various demands and supporting community needs, GSHF can continue to provide housing for more than a hundred people a year.
By repaying the loan principal (about $100,000 per property), a total of $545,000, we can minimize homelessness for those who need a stable roof over their heads. We are asking for you to help us make a difference. Please consider making a contribution today and know that you are helping Prince William County to be a heart-centered community that takes care of its own. Thank you so much for your consideration and for helping us to provide for our neighbors in need!
